The Greater Beech Grove Chamber of Commerce is looking for a logo for their annual golf outing that will be used online, print and on merchandise . The golf outing is held each year and is one of the chambers largest events.  Players enjoy breakfast, lunch, beverages and fun contests throughout the day, all while supporting the community. The Greater Beech Grove Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to partnering with local businesses, organizations and community members to build a dynamic community benefiting the greater Beech Grove area.   Entry Information Entries must be submitted by e mail to info@beechgrovechamber.org.  The email must include your name, phone number and email address.  All entries must be formatted as .jpg, .tiff or .pdf. Indiana Members Credit Union Contributes $2,796 to Beech Grove City Schools

Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU) recently presented a check for $2,796 to Beech Grove City Schools School as part of an ongoing school spirit debit card program. The partnership allows Beech Grove fans the opportunity to show their school spirit and support the athletic program by signing up for a Beech Grove Hornets themed debit card. Every time the card is used as a signature based transaction, Beech Grove athletics benefits. The more cards that are in use, the larger the contribution. Since beginning the program in 2012, Beech Grove City Schools has earned $15,381 through this IMCU giveback program. New Executive Director Announced

After an extensive search, the GBGCOC Board of Directors extended an offer to a wonderful candidate for the Executive Director position. To our delight, Ron Mayes, EdD, of Southport, accepted the position and has begun the transition into the role. Dr. Mayes, a retired educator, spent his early professional career as a technical editor, teacher, principal, and at age of 26, became one of the youngest school administrators in the State of Indiana. He later served as Superintendent of Education in the communities of Edinburgh and Kokomo. In Florida, Dr. Mayes helped establish two charter schools, he began a chamber of commerce in Edinburgh, IN and he and his wife established the Taylor Township Imagination Library in Kokomo which provided a free book every month to every registered Taylor Township pre-school aged child.
