Benedict Inn Retreat & Conference Center seeking donations for Arbor Day

The Beech Grove Greenscape Commission, Parks Department and Daughters of the American Revolution are working together to promote Arbor Day this April. The DAR will create displays at the library and in the Beech Grove schools, as well as working with the Greenscape Commission to organize a coloring contest for the elementary schools. The Greenscape Commission will also work with the Parks Department to host “Going Green in the Grove” on Saturday, April 28. Businesses of Beech Grove are invited to help support Arbor Day by making a small donation for materials and prizes. Additionally, ladies from the DAR may be stopping in to ask if posters may be displayed in storefront windows. A small donation would be a big help.
