Families looking for extra help on Thanksgiving or interested in sharing a meal with the community can check out the events and resources below. Servant's Heart, a food pantry serving Beech Grove and the south/southeast side, will offer its annual drive-thru Thanksgiving on Nov. 24 and they're currently seeking donations for the following items: $840 for 42 cases of pies $300 towards hot meals For more information about the drive-thru Thanksgiving contact Servant's Heart. Small Business Saturday, Delta Theta Tau Craft Fair

Kick start holiday shopping by participating in Small Business Saturday, Nov. 26, in Beech Grove. Start the day at the Delta Theta Tau craft fair, 9 a.m., at Beech Grove High School, then move onto Main Street and take part in a shopping passport program for a chance to win a local gift basket worth more than $100. Businesses participating in the passport program include (list will be updated): Beech Grove Bowl Rustic Root Harlow Rouge Couture Eckstein Shoes Treasure Trove in the Grove Spalding Jewelry Passports can be picked up and dropped off at Beech Grove Bowl, Rustic Root, Eckstein Shoes or the craft fair. Additionally, shop small bags full of local goodies, discounts and coupons will be passed out at local businesses and to early shoppers at the craft fair. There's a limited supply of bags available.

Lions Club Breakfast

The Beech Grove Lions Club, along with the Franklin Township Lions Club, is hosting a pancake breakfast, Sat., Nov. 5 at Longhorn Steakhouse. For $6, you receive a drink, sausage and unlimited pancakes. Breakfast doesn't get much tastier than this. Contact the Lions to purchase tickets.
