Indiana Members Credit Union Contributes $2,796 to Beech Grove City Schools

Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU) recently presented a check for $2,796 to Beech Grove City Schools School as part of an ongoing school spirit debit card program. The partnership allows Beech Grove fans the opportunity to show their school spirit and support the athletic program by signing up for a Beech Grove Hornets themed debit card. Every time the card is used as a signature based transaction, Beech Grove athletics benefits. The more cards that are in use, the larger the contribution. Since beginning the program in 2012, Beech Grove City Schools has earned $15,381 through this IMCU giveback program. Free Health Solutions Fair for Employers

Franciscan Health Indianapolis is inviting central Indiana employers and business owners to a Health Solutions Fair on the campus of Franciscan Health Indianapolis (8111 S. Emerson Ave. on Wednesday, April 26. The event, which is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., will be in the hospital’s auditorium. Healthcare remains a major expense for central Indiana employers from sole proprietors to multi-national corporations. Even those small businesses not offering employer-sponsored health plans must still contend with health-related issues, including work place safety, employee wellness, productivity and satisfaction. Human resource professionals, executives and business owners are invited to attend the free Health Solutions Fair to learn more about screening for the early detection of cancers, smoking cessation, acupuncture, pre-employment drug screening, massage therapy, genetic counseling and more.   To register for the free event call Jessica Tooley at 317-528-7807.

Red Cross needs volunteers

From 9:30 a.m. - 1 pm., Saturday, March 25 the American Red Cross of Central Indiana needs volunteers to help canvass neighborhoods within the City of Beech Grove to install free smoke alarms and educate residents on fire safety and prevention. Anyone interested should contact Axl Edward David with the Indianapolis Red Cross for details. Training will be held beforehand.
